Open Events 2026/27

Open Evening — Thursday 8 October 2026

We warmly invite prospective parents and students looking to start September 2027 to our Open Evening on Thursday 8 October 2026.

What to expect

  • Headteacher’s presentation: 6.00pm (please arrive by 5.45pm to be seated)
  • Guided tours: immediately after the presentation, led by staff and our student ambassadors
  • A full presentation from our Headteacher and senior staff about life at King Edward VI King’s Norton School for Boys, including our curriculum, pastoral care and how our STRIVE values (Self-discipline, Teamwork, Resilience, Initiative, Vision, Endeavour) shape school life.
  • Guided tours of classrooms, specialist facilities and communal areas so you can see learning and student life first-hand.
  • Staff available to speak with you about admissions, enrichment, SEND provision (SENCO will be present), transition support and extracurricular opportunities.

Practical information

  • Arrival: please come to the main school entrance and families will be direct to the sports hall from the main gate.
  • Parking & travel: full directions are available on our Contact Us page. The main carpark will be open for families to park; however, parking is limited so where possible we advise families to walk or use public transport.
  • Accessibility & support: if you require any access arrangements or would like to speak to a member of staff beforehand, please contact the school office (details on the Contact Us page).

Open mornings — Tuesday 13th October 2026 – Thursday 15th October 2026 

We are also holding Open Mornings the week after the Open Evening; this is a great opportunity to visit the school during school open hours and see our learning in action:

  • Tuesday 13 October 2026, 09:00 & 09:30
  • Wednesday 14 October 2026, 09:00 & 09:30
  • Thursday 15 October 2026, 09:00 & 09:30
