Prospective Parents

This time of year is an exciting time for families, as you make the all-important decision about which secondary school you would like your son to attend for the next step in his education. We would like to encourage you to give serious thought to joining our King Edward VI King’s Norton School for Boys family. We have an excellent track record of academic success, and we blend this with our focus on developing well-rounded young men, through additional opportunities we offer them in and out of the classroom.

We hope that you are able to come and take a look at our school on our Open Evening.

Our Headteacher’s presentation begins at 6pm in our recently built sports hall.  We will have limited carparking at the front of school so it is worth setting out early as we only hold one presentation, and we would not want you to miss out.

The rest of the evening involves guided group tours so as to ensure that everyone gets a full snapshot of the variety of things that we offer here at King Edward VI King’s Norton School for Boys.  Each tour group will contain student and staff guides to answer any questions you may have.  Our Senior and Pastoral Teams will also be positioned around the route to pick up any queries that tour guides cannot answer.

We appreciate that it isn’t always possible to get to evening events, so we will also run two Open Morning events:  Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th October. Each day will have a 9:00am and 9:30am tour and a 10:00am and 10:30am tour. As these are normal school days, there are limited places, so please register your interest by emailing enquiry@knbs.co.uk FAO: Headteacher’s PA.

We look forward to meeting you at one of these dedicated events.

Best wishes,

David Clayton
