Required for 1 September 2024, the school is seeking to appoint a teacher of Design Technology, this is a great opportunity to join our Technology Department, the successful candidate should be able to deliver excellence in the classroom and provide innovative and inspirational lessons across the disciplines offered. (Resistant materials and food technology).
Contract type: 0.4, however some flexibility to increase slightly for the right candidate.

The successful candidate must have a strong desire to continuously develop and improve their teaching practice and have the highest expectations for our boys. Our academic results are impressive, and both english and maths results are above the National Average and well above the National average for boys. We are pleased with progress our boys make.
The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge and understanding of current developments in the teaching and learning of Design Technology to all students. They will have strong communication skills along with the enthusiasm needed to inspire the students they teach and their colleagues in the department.
The main aspects of the role will include the day-to-day leadership and management in the department, working closely with the members of the Technology Team. The successfully appointed person will be a key support for the Head of department, deputising in their absence as required.
